Services Provided

 Psychiatric Evaluation:

This is a 60-90 minute appointment which includes a thorough personal, family, social, previous psychiatric, and medical history. A diagnosis is formulated and options for treatment are discussed. This may or may not include medication.

Medication Management:
This is a 15-30 minute appointment focusing on response to medication prescribed. Safety and efficacy are discussed. Changes to medications are made at this appointment. In the beginning these will occur more frequently. Once treatment goals have been reached and maintained for a period, time between appointments will be longer. No more than three months intervals are permitted.

PLEASE NOTE TRADITIONAL THERAPY IS NOT OFFERED AT THIS TIME.

Genetic Testing:
Identification of gene variations can predict potential for drug side effects, variability, and efficacy. This is accomplished via a simple swab of cheek cells.

We believe a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation leads to accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. Some mental health problems can be addressed by medication alone. Others may require additional complementary therapeutic approaches (counseling/psychotherapy, natural supplements, exercise) to provide the best outcome for the patient.  We have a supportive and compassionate environment, and will work with you as a unique individual to address all of your concerns.
